a Squeeze Page and Free Package.
You have to create
a free
package that you can give your subscribers. It can be a free ebook,
report, ecourse, video, audio or anything that you can think of in your
niche market.
Then you have to create
a squeeze page where you lay down benefits of your free package and give
your visitors a form to fill up their name and email address if at all
they want access to your free package.
Step 2 - Setting
Up Your Autoresponders.
There are many autoresponder
services in the market and almost all of them require you to follow these
steps.
1. The very fist step
is to create an autoresponder account. If you are creating autoresponders
for an internet marketing product you can name your autoresponder as 'internet
marketing'.
2. Now you have to
add your name, email address and redirect url in the autoresponders.
The name that you
enter will be displayed as the sender name of the email that your autoresponders
send out.
The email address
that you enter will be displayed as 'reply to' email in the email that
your autoresponders send out.
The redirect url is
the webpage address that your visitors will get forwarded to once they
fill up the form.
3. In some autoresponders
you will also have to check in 2 boxes.
The first box when
checked will send you a report everytime when someone subscribes to your
list.
The second box when
checked will include an unsubscribe link at the bottom of every email
that is send to your list. However due to can-spam act this option is
kept compulsory in most of the autoresponders.
Step 3 - Add Up
Your Follow Up Messages.
The next step is to
add your follow up messages in your autoresponders in the exact sequence
you want them to get fired to your list on autopilot.

Step 4 - Personalize the Messages.
The most important
step is to personalize your email messages with the help of tags that
your autoresponders provide you.
Your can personalize
name, full name, email address, signup date, etc using simple tags.
Your email messages
will be completely personalized with your subscribers details and it will
look as if you have personally send them an email.
Step 5 - Setup
Time Interval.
It is extremely important
to setup time interval between every email message.
If you setup '2 days
from the previous email', the email will get fired after 2 days from the
previous email.
You have to keep the
interval as 0 in most autoresponders for the first email that you want
to fire instantly to your subscribers as soon as they signup.
Step 6 - Insert
the Code.
Once your autoresponder
is completely setup, you have to click a button and get a code. This code
will be placed on your squeeze page as your signup form.
When someone fills
up the form they will enter into your autoresponder and the messages will
get fired.
Step 7 - Test Everything.
Become your own subscriber
by filling up the form in your squeeze page and test everything.
Make sure things are
working perfectly fine before you start promoting your squeeze page.
